about

The study of natural systems has been a constant occupation for Donohoe. Her curiosity led her to complete sutdies in science and she has spent the last decade bringing together the twin worlds of art and science to communicate some of the wonder she experiences. Each work produced chronicles this journey.

artist statement

I have had a lifelong curiosity with natural systems. From the preoccupations of the smallest bug, to those of the scientific mind, and to the expansive experience of the largest land formation, my works invite contemplation of "the other" in nature. I would say that my work is unique in its embodiment of elastic perception.
